Located within an hour to two hours outside of Washington, D.C., the Northern Virginia Region is a conglomerate of townships, cities and counties with a diverse landscape that encompasses the bustle of city living and the peace and serenity of the country side.

The region boasts more than 35 wineries and vineyards and a variety of festivals and events. There are also several organized "wine trails" so that guests can visit wineries that are in close proximity to one another.
